Muscat:: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace today to Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al Sabah, first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior in the State of Kuwait.
During the audience, the guest conveyed a verbal message to His Majesty the Sultan from Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait. The message deals with means of enhancing the distinguished relations between the two countries to serve the joint interests.
The audience also reviewed areas of the military and security cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Kuwait, and means of promoting them in a manner that maintains stability and security in the two countries and the rest of regional countries.
The audience was attended by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Dr. Mohammed bin Nassir Al Hajri, Ambassador of Kuwait to Oman and Major General Hamed Manahi Al-Mutairi, Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior.
