Muscat: National Business Centre (NBC), which pertains to the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE), signed on Tuesday incubation agreements with two local firms; namely Inks Solution and Future for Renewable Energy (Eureka).
The two companiesshall benefit from the services offered by NBC. The agreements were signed in the presence of Malak Al Shaibani, director general of NBC.
Inks Solution provides information technology solutions for customers to make their daily works smooth and easy and enhance their businesses to be more efficient. The company provides IT services including software development as a main service in addition to graphical designs.
Established in 2015 by a group of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) students, Future for Renewable Energy (Eureka) is a company that aims at finding solutions for eco-friendly power by installing and designing solar modules.
The company has a passion of entering the business sector and be part of the renewable culture in Oman by contributing to its growth and disseminate awareness on environmental aspects.
The company was awarded by Injaz Oman as part of Sharikati Competition, and was awarded by NBO in the field of SMEs' innovation. Eureka Company aspires to increase people's awareness on the importance of renewable energy through organising awareness workshops and installing solar modules in rooftops that helps in reducing electricity use and pollution.
It should be noted that NBC is an initiative launched by PEIE at Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM) to offer promising Omani entrepreneurs a platform to develop their business ideas and advance them into growing ventures.
The centre offers a premier platform to Omani entrepreneurs by providing business development support and guidance, training and mentoring, access to markets and industry experts, and state-of-the-art and fully equipped office space, meeting rooms and presentation facilities.
