New York records first case of new Mpox strain

Washington: The New York State Department of Health announced the first case of new Mpox strain.

The department did not provide further information on the case.

Three Mpox cases have been confirmed in California, Georgia, and New Hampshire.

This announcement may heighten global concerns over the spread of the little-known variant.

Symptoms of Mpox include fever, swollen lymph nodes, muscle pain, fatigue, chills, and a chickenpox-like rash on the hands and face.
