Yemen's Houthis on Tuesday claimed they attacked an American aircraft carrier group, calling it a retaliatory move against US strikes.
In a Telegram post, the Houthis said that they targeted the USS Harry S. Truman carrier group with missiles and drones, making the attack the "third in the past 48 hours" in the northern Red Sea.
Meanwhile, the US has continued its strikes against the rebel group in Yemen.
The US will continue to strike Yemen's Houthi rebels until they end attacks on international shipping, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Sunday.
