HH The Honourable Lady sends greetings on Mother’s Day

Muscat,: Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, has expressed greetings to mothers in the Sultanate of Oman, and the world at large, on the occasion of Mother's Day, which falls on 21 March every year.

A message to this effect reads as follows: “We are pleased to extend our heartfelt greetings to all mothers in our beloved country on the occasion of Mother's Day, which falls on 21 March, along with our greetings to all mothers around the world.

This event portrays aspects of loyalty, gratitude and appreciation for the great sacrifices made by mothers as they engage in bringing up children, protecting the family and society and instilling noble values and ideals.

This year, as we celebrate Mother’s Day during the holy month of Ramadan, we pray to Allah the Almighty to grant mothers all around the world a safe, dignified, happy and stable life.

We also pray to the Almighty to endow mothers with appropriate conditions and capabilities that enable them to fulfill their duties towards their families and society in an efficient and comfortable manner.
