CDAA rescues victim from rubble in Quriyat gas explosion

Muscat: Search and rescue teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority(CDAA) have successfully recovered the missing individual who was trapped under the rubble following a sudden gas explosion in a commercial building located in the Wilayat of Quriyat. The rescued person was transported to hospital in a critical condition, requiring immediate medical attention.

The explosion resulted in injuries to a total of six people, with the severity of their injuries ranging from moderate to critical. The CDAA had previously announced their response to the incident, which also caused damage to a neighbouring building. Authorities are continuing to assess the extent of the damage while providing ongoing medical support to those injured.
