CDAA teams continue efforts to control mountain fire in Al Dakhiliyah

Muscat: Firefighting teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate are continuing their extensive efforts to bring a fire under control that broke out amongst trees in the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar last night. The authorities have stated that teams are working to limit the fire's spread, with the cooperation of the Royal Oman Police Aviation, relevant official bodies, and local residents.

The Royal Oman Police Aviation has conducted more than ten aerial operations, transporting both personnel and essential equipment to combat the blaze in the Aqbat Saloot area of Al Jabal Al Akhdar. These efforts are being carried out in coordination with the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority, the Royal Air Force of Oman, and the Sultan's Armed Forces.

Work to contain the fire is ongoing, and the authorities are urging residents to exercise caution and to report any signs of fire immediately.
