Muscat: The issuance of export/import/re-export permits for all types of sharks and their derivatives will be suspended for a period of three months starting from April 24, 2025, Environment Authority (EA), said.
The Environment Authority announces the suspension of issuing permits for the export, import, and re-export of all types of sharks and their parts for a period of three months, starting from April,24 2025. This measure is being taken by the Authority for environmental considerations related to the assessment of the status of sharks in the seas of the Sultanate of Oman.
