HM the Sultan receives Ruler of Sharjah

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Alam Palace today to Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah.

The audience reviewed areas of cooperation, particularly in the cultural, scientific and historical fields. In this context, His Majesty stressed the importance of promoting these collaborations to serve the joint interests.

On his turn, Sheikh Sultan expressed his utmost thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality, expressing his delight over this visit.

The audience was attended bySayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office. Meanwhile, it was attended from the UAE side by Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority, Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Oman and Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture in Sharjah.
