Muscat: A Canadian citizen who has been accused of being part of international crime network has been arrsted in the Sultanate of Oman, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
The General Department of Criminal Investigation and Research arrested a Canadian national accused of belonging to an international organised crime network and participating in numerous criminal schemes in several countries, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
Royal Oman Police said: “He was judicially handed over to the Canadian authorities as part of the joint security coordination efforts between the two countries.”
The Royal Oman Police reaffirms its ongoing efforts to combat transnational organised crime in cooperation with the international community to maintain the security and safety of society.
