Muscat Governorate conducts project management training programme for employees

Muscat: The weeklong professional projects management training programme conducted by Muscat Governorate kicked off on Sunday.

It aims to improve its employees’ skills including projects managers, workers in the planning and wilayats’ development departments, participants in planning teams and people who require working on projects in other administrative divisions. Engineer Salih Al Khalidi, an expert in projects management and digital transformation delivered it.  

The Professional Projects Management Programme reflects Muscat Governorate’s effort to develop the human resources’ abilities and their efficiency to implement projects according to professional scientific foundations.

This programme provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to plan, implement and manage projects efficiently through introducing the basic concepts of project management.

They include strategic planning, resource management, quality control, and performance monitoring, ensuring consistent with Muscat Governorate’s development strategy.

This programme also develops the technical and administrative skills for project success.

As well as, enhancing the participants’ personal skills such as leadership, communication, and issues resolution, empowering them to fulfil their roles in flexible and changing work environments.  

This programme marks a professional development programme that Muscat Governorate implements to improve its employees’ proficiencies to contribute to achieving the Oman 2040 Vision,
