Muscat: A seminar titled "Cybersecurity Risks and Digital Resilience Strategies" discussed the most prominent challenges facing institutions amid the rise in cyberattacks, ways to enhance their capacity to counter these threats, and ensuring continuity in a secure digital environment, along with the importance of cybersecurity insurance.

Organised by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in collaboration with Howden Insurance Brokers, the seminar aimed to raise awareness about the risks of cyberattacks and their impact on the business environment, as well as the importance of insurance. It also sought to familiarise participants with global best practices in institutional data protection, promote digital security culture within the business environment, and establish communication channels with experts and technicians to exchange solutions and consultations in cybersecurity.

The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of Eng. Ibrahim Abdullah Al Hosni, a member of the OCCI Board of Directors and Chairman of the Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence Committee.
