Muscat: The Criminal Investigation Department of the Dhofar Governorate Police has arrested six Egyptian women for alleged involvement in acts that violate public morals and ethics.
According to Royal Oman Police, the arrests took place in Salalah, where authorities discovered activities occurring in several coffee shops equipped with private rooms.
“The women were reportedly engaged in illicit practices in exchange for monetary compensation,” ROP added, Legal procedures are currently being finalised in accordance with Oman’s laws.
