Lilongwe, (Malawi): The newly appointed High Commissioner-designate of India to Malawi, Amararam Gujar presented the copy of credentials to His Excellency Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi, at a ceremony held at the Kamuzu Palace.
As part of the official proceedings, the High Commissioner-designate of India signed the visitors’ book at the State House and inspected the Guard of Honour.
The occasion underscored the warm and longstanding ties between India and Malawi, with both nations reaffirming their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation across political, economic, and cultural fields.
Amararam Gujar conveyed India’s best wishes for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Malawi, expressing confidence that the friendship between the two countries will further deepen in the years ahead.
