South Al Batinah Governorate has 249 licenced hotel establishments

A’Rustaq: The number of licensed hotel establishments in South Al Batinah Governorate reached 249 by the end of July 2025. This includes 11 hotels, 8 hotel apartments, 5 rest houses, 2 camps, 173 guesthouses, 48 green lodges, and 2 heritage inns.

Statistics from the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism show that these establishments are distributed across the wilayats as follows: 182 in Barka, 34 in Al Musanaah, 22 in A’Rustaq, 10 in Nakhal, and 1 in Wadi Al Ma'awil.

The statistics also reported that there are 198 licenced travel and tourism offices in South Al Batinah Governorate. Of these, 116 are for travel agency activities and 82 are for tour operator activities.
