Kuwait: The Sultanate of Oman on Thursday participated in the 27th meeting of GCC Undersecretaries of Ministries of Justice, held in Kuwait.
The Omani delegation was headed by Dr. Yahya Nasser Al Khasibi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs.
The meeting discussed several topics, including the preparation of a policy for cooperation among the GCC Ministries of Justice to implement Oman’s initiative to enhance judicial integration.
The agenda also covered draft unified rules for combating discrimination, hate speech, and contempt of religions and religious beliefs. Furthermore, the meeting addressed draft unified rules for combating human trafficking and information technology crimes, as well as a report on the meetings of the Committee of International Cooperation and Relations Officials from the Ministries of Justice in member states for 2025.
