Sayyid Theyazin to patronise RNO’s Annual Day celebration tomorrow

Muscat: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, will patronise tomorrow the celebration of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) on its Annual Day, which falls on 3 November every year. The celebration will take place at the Military Parade Ground at Said bin Sultan Naval Base.

The celebration will include the graduation of batches of university and executive officers, in addition to a number of military events.

The RNO Annual Day commemorates the anniversary of the handover of the RNO Standard. Along with the other corps of the Sultan's Armed Forces, the RNO receives Royal attention from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, in a blessed march that is an extension of Oman's maritime glories.
