Fourth Energy and Minerals Forum begins

Duqm: The Fourth Energy and Minerals Forum, organiszed by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, was inaugurated on Sundayin the Wilayat of Duqm, Al Wusta Governorate.

The event was held under the auspices of Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, and in the presence of Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy, Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Muslim Al Kathiri, Governor of Al Wusta.

The forum aims to review developmental projects and investment opportunities in Al Wusta Governorate, and to enhance cooperation between government entities and the private sector in the fields of oil and gas, minerals, renewable energy, and green hydrogen.

The forum's activities included the presentation of four main presentations that covered the themes of oil and gas, minerals, renewable energy, hydrogen, and net-zero. The presentations reviewed the Ministry's achievements, future projects, and national initiatives in the field of transition towards clean energy, in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
