Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has officially expressed its deep concern regarding recent developments in the Yemeni governorates of Al-Mahrah and Hadhramaut.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oman emphasised that regional stability can only be maintained through peaceful solutions and a commitment to de-escalation between all involved parties.
The statement called for all sides to avoid escalation and to return to the political track, urging the initiation of a comprehensive political dialogue that includes all segments of the Yemeni population. Oman stressed that such dialogue is essential for achieving a shared vision for Yemen’s future, reinforcing peace, security, and stability in the country, and upholding the principles of good neighbourliness.
