Bidiyah: The Municipal Council of North Al Sharqiyah Governorate discussed the latest developments in addressing municipal challenges across several of the governorate’s wilayats, as well as requests for the approval and amendment of certain residential plans and land uses, and the naming of various roads and residential neighborhoods.
This took place during the council's second meeting of 2026, held on Wednesday in the Wilayat of Bidiyah under the chairmanship of Mahmoud Yahya Al Duhli, Governor of North Al Sharqiyah and Chairman of the Council. The meeting addressed several service and development-related topics on the agenda and adopted appropriate recommendations regarding them.
The council also deliberated on various developmental initiatives, including proposals to upgrade public facilities and bolster afforestation and beautification efforts for the governorate's roads and streets. Furthermore, it reviewed performance indicators, projects, and requirements related to social development plans for the 2024–2026 period.
