CDAA responding to fire in fuel storage tanks at Port of Salalah

Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) is responding to a fire in the fuel storage tanks at the Port of Salalah.

The relevant teams have commenced firefighting operations, supported by the Sultan's Armed Forces and companies operating in the area.

The authority is exerting all efforts to contain the fire, which may take some time, and to ensure the implementation of all safety and security measures in such situations.
