Foreign Ministry: Group of citizens return home from Iran

Muscat: The Foreign Ministry, in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Sultanate of Oman, continued to implement the necessary arrangements to facilitate the return of Omani citizens currently abroad, in light of the current developments in the region.

In this context,a group of citizens arriving from the Islamic Republic of Iran has returned homeland safely through coordinated ground and air transit arrangements, in collaboration with the Sultanate of Oman's diplomatic missions in Tehran and Ankara, as part of the approved plan.

The Foreign Ministry affirmed that the situation of citizens continues to be monitored around the clock, in coordination with overseas missions, to ensure their security and safety.
