Five arrested
A senior Royal Oman Police (ROP) official from the Hafit Police force affiliated with the Buraimi Police Department said they have arrested five Asian nationals for detaining a woman against her will and assaulting her.
The source added that the victim was able to escape from the farm and filed a report with the police.
She said that she had arrived in Muscat on a domestic worker visa but escaped to Nizwa. She finally settled in Buraimi. A person detained her in one of the farms and assaulted her along with other suspects.
