Mol issues a statement on wages for the month of May

Muscat: On the occasion of Eid Al Adha, the Ministry of Labour urged private sector establishments to disburse wages for the month of May before Monday, 8 Dhul-Hijjah 1447 AH, corresponding to 25 May 2026. 

On the occasion of the approaching Eid Al-Adha for the year 1447 AH, the Ministry of Labour would like to notify all private sector establishments subject to the provisions of the Labour Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. (53/2023) of the necessity to comply with advancing the payment date of their employees' wages for the month of May 2026, no later than Monday, 8 Dhul-Hijjah 1447 AH, corresponding to 25 May 2026.
