Before HM the Sultan, ambassadors take oath of office

Muscat: Before His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, a number of ambassadors took the oath of office at Al Hosn Palace in Salalah today.

The following ambassadors took the oath of office:

1/ Sheikh Nasser bin Sulaiman Al Harthy, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Belarus.

2/ Faisal bin Omar Al Marhoon, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Syrian Arab Republic.

3/ Ali bin Ahmed Al Shanfari, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait.

4/ Anwar bin Ahmed Muqaibal, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People's Republic of China.

5/ Yaqoub bin Badr Al Ruqaishi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Sudan.

6/ Salim bin Habib Al Umairi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federal Republic of Somalia.

7/ Salim bin Saud Al Habsi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Austria.

8/ Rashid bin Ali Al Badi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Senegal.

9/ Eng. Hatim bin Hilal Al Yaqoubi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Malaysia.

10/ Aseela bint Nasser Al Kiyumi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Japan.

11/ Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Salim Jaaboub, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister.



Earlier, His Majesty the Sultan received, at Al Hosn Palace in Salalah, the credentials of the Ambassadors of Tanzania, Tajikistan, India, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Switzerland, Brazil, Germany and Indonesia, as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors accredited by the leaders of their respective nations to the Sultanate of Oman.
