Water shortage feared in Muscat today

Muscat: Residents of the Al Seeb wilayat may face water shortage for 28 hours starting at 8:00 pm today due to maintenance work.

Residents of South and North Mabela, Sur Al Hadeed, Al Sharadi and Al Manuma areas may also face shortage of water after a burst was reported in a main pipeline in the wilayat of Mabela.

It will take around 24 hours to repair the pipeline, the Public Authority for Electricity and Water stated.

The authority advised all citizens and residents to optimize their water use and take necessary measures for the next 24-hours.
