Snapchat, as the name suggests, is an app that allows you to chat with your friends through photographs as well as video. You can capture and record your photos and videos, caption them on the spot, add funky Snapchat filters, and send them instantaneously. You can also make Snap stories that are not addressed to anyone in particular but can be viewed by all those who have been added on your Snapchat list.
An app that was initially targeted towards the teenage and young adult demographic between the ages of 13 and 22, Snapchat has now become a more mainstream app and is now used by several news and media outlets, including the Daily Mail, IGN, CNN, BBC and many, many more.
