Oman weather: Muscat wakes up to a rainy morning

Muscat: Heavy rain was reported from different parts of Oman this morning.
The low pressure system that brought rain in many places in the Sultanate last week will continue to affect the weather until Wednesday.

Oman’s Meteorology department said that heavy rain fell in Muscat, North Al Batinah and Buraimi this morning. “We are expecting rain in North and South Al Batinah, Al Dhahira, Muscat, Al Dhakhliya, North and South Al Sharqiyah,” the official said.
Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has urged the citizens and residents to stay away from low-lying areas and overflowing wadis.
The rains brought down temperatures all over Oman.
