Best Plastic Surgeon Award for Omani doctor

Muscat: Dr. Salim bin Mohammed Ghawas won the Best Plastic Surgeon Award for 2016.
The award is given at the Sultanate’s level by the Omani Society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, annually, following evaluation of surgeons and their job performance.
Dr. Salim Ghawas said that he loved the surgery in general and plastic and reconstructive surgery, in particular.
Very few Omani surgeons have been involved in this field, he added. “I was honoured by the Omani Society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, which motivates me to further excel in the field of plastic surgery” he said.
“I have participated in a lot of plastic surgeries at Sultan Qaboos Hospital, and Khoula Hospital along with a number of consultants and specialists,” he added. Dr. Ghawas expressed his thanks to Society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the medical crew and nursing staff at the Plastic Surgery Department at Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah.
