Muscat: A unique and interactive exhibition revolving around science and math is now in Oman.
"Math is My Life" mixes fun and education together in an interactive format.
The exhibition, held at the Children Museum in Qurum, opens on Wednesday and will run until the May 13.It is designed to bring science and math to life in the eyes of young students.
The exhibit offers a wide range of modules in six themed galleries that demonstrate the relationship between STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
The travelling educational exhibition first opened in 2012 at Washington, D.C.’s Smithsonian International Gallery in 2012.
The programme, created by the Raytheon Company, began its tour of the Gulf region in 2013 and has had around 300,000 visitors since then.
The programme offers activities in both English and Arabic, ranging from the building of future cities, to programming a Mars rover to collect samples in a timed challenge.
