Cairo: Oman won four awards in the Smart Government Awards contest, which was organised by the Pan Arab Excellence Awards Academy in its eighth edition.
The ceremony was held in Cairo under the auspices of Dr. Halah Helmi A’Saeed, Minister of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) got the Arab Smart Government Shield and a golden certificate of excellence for smart applications category of best Arab economic, financial and trade authorities sector for the second time in a row for its application “e-Consumer Manual” and Tawasal programme.
Dr. Said bin Khamis Al Kaabi, Chairman of PACP received two awards.
Dhofar Municipality got smart government shield and a golden certificate of excellence for its application “Salalah Tourist Festival”. Eng. Abdul Qadir bin Ahmed Al Haddad, Deputy Head of Dhofar Municipality received the two awards.
