Earth Hour happened on Saturday night, for one hour between 8:30pm and 9:30pm.

The Environment Society Oman organised a variety of programmes at Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa to celebrate the event, led by World Wide Fund for Nature. These photos show the area before, then after, the big switch-off as also people engaged in various activities.
