White House spokesman Sean Spicer confirms U.S. President Donald Trump's tweets are 'official statements by the President of the United States'.
When asked on Tuesday if President Trump's tweets were considered official White House statements, White House spokesman Sean Spicer said President Trump's tweets are 'official statements'.
"Well, the president is the President of the United States so they are considered official statements by the President of the United States," Spicer said.
