Muscat: Cloudy skies are projected over the coastal areas of Dhofar with occasional rain, while the rest of the Sultanate will experience mainly clear skies, with chances of cloud developing over Al Hajar mountains during the afternoon.
"Low-level cloud or fog is expected over the governorates of Al Sharqiya, Al Wusta and along most of the coastal areas", according to The Public Authority for Civil Aviation. The temperatures around the Sultanate will vary from 40 degrees in Khasab to 26 in Salalah. In Muscat, the temperature will reach 33 during the day and 27 at night. Sur, Masirah, and Sohar will be mostly sunny with temperatures of 37, 32 and 35 respectively.
Sea winds are predicted to be light to moderate during the day and night along the coastal areas of Oman, while along coastal areas of the Arabian Sea the winds will be moderate to light. The sea state in the Arabian Sea is expected to be rough compared to Oman and Musandam seas which are expected to be moderate.
