Muscat: The National Automotive Higher Institute (NAHI) recently received Accreditation from Pearson Education, the UK's largest awarding body that services are in more than 100 countries.
Accreditation is a rigorous process, earning it is a measure of college excellence and outstanding performance as a leading college of academic and vocational training in the field of automotive. Pearson certified NAHI’s programmes, levels 4 and 5 based on UK qualifications framework. Following NAHI’s bid to deliver Pearson’s international accreditations, a Pearson representative touched down in Muscat to evaluate NAHI, its facilities, employees and curricula.
"Through Pearson’s endorsement NAHI will deliver important opportunities for the national workforce and the domestic industry, particularly talented local students and motivated professionals seeking fresh prospects in one of the world’s largest industries," commented Salim Al Amri, the ETD of NAHI. "The automotive industry provides promising career growth opportunities based on merit and qualifications, it was therefore important to globalise the level of certification offered at NAHI."
