Want to watch KT Tunstall perform in Muscat for free? Here's what you need to do

Muscat: Lucky residents in Oman could win up to 50 tickets to enjoy some of the world’s most memorable music performances at the Shangri La Barr Al Jissah resort over the next couple of weeks.
Times of Oman is giving away free tickets to music lovers, for an exclusive rock concert featuring Scottish singing sensation KT Tunstall on November 1. That is preceded by the Jazz Garden: an evening of soulful, snazzy music by legendary British saxophonist Albie Donnelly, and his band, Supercharge, on Thursday.
All you need to do is visit and ‘like’ the Times of Oman’s official Facebook page, and comment on the featured post, which promotes the event.
Lucky winners will be announced every day, and will be contacted by the Times of Oman to collect their tickets.
Music aficionados will love the Jazz Gardens extravaganza, which will also feature award-winning indie jazz artist Catie Waters and English singer-songwriter Ryan Keen, this weekend.
Tunstall has a near-cult following in her native United Kingdom, and has already won a BRIT award, in addition to being nominated for Grammy and Mercury Prize nominations, and her music has already been featured as the theme tune to smash TV hit Ugly Betty.
The event is being organised by Alive Entertainment, a Middle Eastern entertainment and event management company, which in the past, has brought stars, such as comedian Russell Peters, and singers Ed Sheeran and Tom Jones.
“Used to playing sell outs stadiums around the world, KT is looking forward to playing a much more intimate concert in Muscat where she will be onstage alone with her guitars where she will create backing tracks live,” said Gordon Mackenzie, managing director for Alive Entertainment. “We have a lot of, interaction with people in Muscat and there has been a lot of interest in having a different style of event. When the Jazz Garden Series was hosted in Dubai last April, the pilot episode had a great turn out of more than 4,000 attendees.
“The fans were treated to an experience like no other as they enjoyed relaxing in the cosy atmosphere with a breath-taking view, listening to world-class performers playing a range of jazz and blues, often a combination of several styles,” he added.
