Hyderabad: Oman’s National Structure Programme for Geographic Information has won the Spatial International Excellence and Leadership Award at the World Geospatial Forum (WGF).
The programme of the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) was judged the best method for enhancement of economic growth. The award is given for employing the best policies and state-of-the-art techniques at the world level in serving local commuities and citizens.
The award was received by Hassan bin Alawi Al Ghazali, director general of National Structure for Geographic Information at the NCSI during a ceremony on the conclusion of the World Geospatial Forum.
