Panasonic launches new cassette and duct AC models in Oman

Muscat: Panasonic, one of the global leaders in efficient and innovative air-conditioning solutions, has launched its newest range of residential and commercial air conditioner lineup of the cassette and ducted models in Oman in association with its local partner, Oman Marketing and Services Company (Omasco).
Complementing the brand’s highly energy-efficient split and VRF series, this new lineup will give a full range of cooling solutions for most residential and commercial applications.
“This new air-conditioner line-up is energy efficient, environmental friendly and built to meet extreme weather conditions of the region. With this introduction of these new split and commercial models, we are proud to offer the largest line-up of air-conditioners to our Omani customers while we further strengthen our market leadership,” said Hussain Al Lawati, managing director of Omasco.
The new models qualify according to the most stringent energy regulations existing in the region and deliver the highest EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) rating across the range. They come equipped with DC fan motors, gold fins for higher corrosion resistance and long piping length capability for high-rise buildings.
The ACs are also highly durable with a strong cooling power even when operating at high ambient temperatures, designed with an extended operating range of up to 52°C, seemingly perfect for the GCC. The lineup is available in capacities starting from 24K BTU up to 57K BTU. The company is also improving the pipe length capabilities of select split units to 40M total and 30 M vertical, which is the best in its class.
“Panasonic produced its first home cooler in 1958 and, true to our 100-year heritage of Japanese quality craftsmanship, we continue to pursue advances in technology to deliver ‘relaxing comfort’ for customers everywhere. We have introduced models after researching the local preferences, one of the examples is the Jetstream range of split units introduced last year, which is seeing very good success in the market. Today, our air conditioners are acknowledged for their high quality, industry-leading features, durability and reliability under tough and extreme weather conditions. With the introduction of these new split and commercial models, we are proud to offer the largest lineup of air conditioners to our Omani customers, while we further strengthen our market leadership in providing best-in-class AC solutions in the domestic market,” commented Ishikawa Shimpei, general manager - Panasonic Japan.
He continued, “Our target here is all the stakeholders involved in the design and construction of buildings – consultants, contractors, architects and real estate developers and end users. Keeping sustainable energy benefits in mind, these new models, in addition to the split and FSV-EX VRF System, are ideal solutions for a growing realty market like Oman and other booming construction industries in the region. They are not only aimed at maximum savings but easy integration into projects too.”
With the slogan ‘Quality Air for Life’, Panasonic is committed to offering total air solutions that improve indoor air quality, for healthier and better living. Following this direction, the company developed its air conditioner models with Nanoe G function, which give 99% cleaner air, and Jetstream function, which gives unmatched 25-metre air flow.
As a responsible manufacturer, the company also aims to educate customers in making the right choices while purchasing an air conditioner. The customer should compare the performance of unit under high ambient conditions, energy efficiency, air volume and total pipe lengths so that they can realise better value for their money.
