Five expats killed in Oman road accident

Muscat: Five people have died in a vehicle accident in the Al Dhahirah Governorate, with one other being seriously injured.
Royal Oman Police said in a statement online, "An accident of a vehicle towards Hamra Al Droa area in Al Dhahirah governorate resulted in the death of five people of Yemeni nationality," while another person was seriously injured.
Police also called on drivers to avoid excessive speeds on the roads and to inspect vehicle tyres before driving long distances.
