Two arrested for bootlegging in Oman

Muscat: Two people have been arrested for the possession and trading of alcoholic beverages illegally, Royal Oman Police reported on Monday.

An official source said "Adam police station arrested two suspects on charges of possessing and trading alcoholic beverages in Adam. A cache of bottle liquors were seized.”

The official added that the suspects have been referred to the judicial authorities for further investigation and trial.
