
Muscat: An expat of “Arab nationality” was rescued after he fell into a pit, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) announced.
Officials revealed that the incident took place in the Wilayat of Barka and the expat fell into a pit that was being dug up for a swimming pool.
The expat suffered minor injuries, authorities added.
In a statement online, PACDA said, ”The rescue teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Centre, in the Wilayat of Barka, rescued a person of Arab nationality after he fell into a pit that was being prepared for a swimming pool. [The incident] took place on a farm in Al Falig area. [The expat] suffered a minor injury, and he was transferred to the hospital in an ambulance."
