93 illegal immigrants arrested in Oman

Muscat: A total of 86 illegal immigrants were deported and 93 others arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP) over the last two weeks, officials announced.
No information on the nationalities of the immigrants was made available. According to ROP’s statement, “The Royal Oman Police in coordination with other security authorities arrested 93 infiltrators belonging to different nationalities for entering the country illegally.”
In addition, 86 other infiltrators were deported from Oman in coordination with the embassies of their countries. This was done after all legal measures were taken, officials added.
