Muscat: Three fires have been reported in Oman, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) has announced.
Officials revealed that no injuries were recorded in the incidents that took place in Salalah and the Wilayat of Izki.
While the first incident was recorded when weeds in the Attin area were set on fire, the other fire broke out in a house.
According to PACDA’s online statement, “Firefighters managed to control a fire that broke out in a house in Sa'ada area in the state of Salalah without recording injuries."
The Public Authority calls on citizens and residents to avoid directly setting weeds on fire during their visits, and to make sure that they are put out before leaving the site.
In the third case, a fire broke out in the housing area of workers in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
In a statement online, PACDA said, "Fire Brigade from the Department of Civil Defence and Ambulance managed to control a fire in the housing of workers in the Wilayat of Izki in Al Dakhilyah Governorate, without recording any injuries.”
