Muscat: The first retail fuel centre on Muscat expressway will open soon, with plans to service over 1.4 million road users.
Travellers passing through Muscat Expressway have been demanding a service stop.
According to Sheikh Fahd bin Mohammed Al Khalili, Chief Executive Officer of Bayan Investment House, the retail centre will be located a strategically on the highway.
“This will be the first integrated service station to meet the needs of over 1.4 million highway users,” Al Khalili said. “The retail centre will share the plot with a petrol station on Muscat Expressway, giving it a competitive advantage,” Al Khalili added. Muscat Expressway is 54km long, beginning in Qurum and continuing until Halban, at which point the Batinah Expressway starts.
