​Municipality raids house used as restaurant kitchen

Muscat: Muscat Municipality raided a house in the wilayat of Muttrah where people were found cooking food for commercial purposes in unhealthy conditions and without a license.

Authorities said, "Under a search warrant issued by Public Prosecution, Muscat Municipality in Grand Muttrah raided a house in Muttrah Souq practicing unlicensed activity and in unhealthy conditions, and confiscated large quantities of cooking material and ready-made foodstuff was intended to be distribute."
