Majlis to discuss panel report on draft law on medical practice on Sunday

Muscat: Majlis Al Shura will hold on Sunday its 4th regular session for the 4th annual convening (2018-2019) of the 8th term.
Sheikh Ali bin Nasser Al Mahrooqi, Secretary General of Majlis Al Shura said that the meeting would discuss the report of the Health and Environment Committee on the draft law for practising medicine and medical assistance professions.
The meeting would acquaint members of the Majlis with the replies of the Council of Ministers to a number of issues including establishment of a unit for performance measurement and quality assurance in government departments and a specialised government centre for physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
It would also familiarise the members with the draft law on statistics and information among other issues, he added.
