Municipality extends fight against dengue-causing mosquitoes

Muscat: Municipal authorities are now combatting dengue-causing mosquitoes (aedes aegypti) in the Wilayat of Muttrah where these mosquitoes were found by the Ministry of Health.
Officials also added that teams will be surveying Muttrah, Wadi Kabir, Darsait, Eint, Al Fahal, Sultan Qaboos Port, Hamriyah, Tiwyan, Ruwi, Bait Al Falaj and Sidab.
The Directorate General of Muscat Municipality in the Wilayat of Mutrah said, "Teams will carry out field inspections and surveys on Monday, in the areas of Mutrah, Wadi Kabir, Darsait, Eint, Al Fahal, Sultan Qaboos Port, Hamriyah, Tiwyan, Ruwi, Bait Al Falaj, Sidab. [The Municipality asks] everyone to cooperate and facilitate the tasks of municipal teams."
