Muscat: The Legislative and Legal Committee at Majlis Al Shura today held its 3rd regular meeting of the 4th annual sitting (2018-2019) of the 8th term (2015-2019) under the chairmanship of Khalid bin Ahmed Al Sa’adi, Deputy Head of the Committee.
The Committee discussed the draft statistics and information law, which was referred by the Council of Ministers.
The Committee also discussed the need to make some amendments and additions to the draft law after studying some similar draft laws in some neighbouring countries and hosting experts from the relevant stakeholders.
