Three arrested in Oman for forging permits

Muscat: Three residents of Asian nationality have been arrested after attempting to forge training certificates and permits that belong to oil companies, the Royal Oman Police has said.

A statement from the Royal Oman Police read, “The Directorate General of Inquiries and Investigations at the police headquarters for the security of oil and gas institutions has arrested three suspects of Asian nationality for forging training certificates and the permits of oil and gas concession companies.

“Legal procedures against the accused are currently being carried out,” the statement added.
