Omani woman dies in a pond

Muscat: A woman has been found dead after falling into a pond in Wilayat Sur, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance announced.

According to authorities, the woman was an Omani national.

In a statement online, PACDA said: "The team from the Department of Civil Defence and Ambulance in Southern Shariqyah responded to a report of a Omani citizen who fell into a water pond in the area of Al Falaij in Wilayat Sur."

”The women was deceased when she was extracted from the pond, ” added PACDA.
